Wave Company Introduces Wearable Healthcare Technology at Germany's "MEDICA"

Showcasing TracMe, TracSil, and ElecSil

Wave Company, a specialist in wearable technology, is participating in the world’s largest medical device exhibition, 'MEDICA,' held from November 11 to 14 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company will showcase wearable tech products, including WaveWear, as well as TracMe, TracSil, and ElecSil.

TracSil, one of Wave Company's core technologies, is a highly flexible soft silicone sensor that attaches to clothing, enabling precise monitoring of the wearer’s health status and movement. TracSil features high flexibility and durability through a silicone textile process, and it is made from a special washable silicone material that sensitively detects and analyzes a wide range of movements.

In particular, the "My AI Fitness Assistant, TracMe", being showcased at this MEDICA, is a fitness solution that automatically provides coaching feedback needed for exercise measurement and goal achievement. TracMe received an Innovation Award in the Digital Health category at CES 2024.

ElecSil is a biosensor wearable electrode technology that adheres to the skin, stretching and bending with it. The electrodes, which are coated onto clothing, enable precise measurement of biometric signals such as heart rate, ECG, and EMG by transmitting signals between the body and wearable devices. ElecSil also includes technology for providing electrical stimulation to the body. Developed as a patch, ElecSil can be easily attached to clothing through heat and adhesive.

Nancy Cho, CEO of Wave Company, stated:

"We are very pleased to showcase Wave Company's innovative healthcare and wearable products at the MEDICA exhibition. We look forward to Wave Company playing a major role in the smartwear and wearable healthcare market through various global collaborations in the future."

MEDICA is one of the largest medical B2B trade fairs in the world, attracting over 5,300 exhibitors from around 70 countries and approximately 83,000 visitors.
